Scarecrow is a song by Japanese rock group The Pillows. It is featured in the third episode of FLCL: Shoegaze titled "Far Friend", when Harumi Araishu is shot by a police sniper and transported 10 years into the past in the alternate dimension, while Masaki Aofuji and Kana Koumoto desperately try to save her.
Originally released on the band's 2007 album, Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!, the version featured in the episode in an instrumental version.
