- There is a fan theory by the person writing this page that despite Kana's surname being Koumoto, this man reading the newspaper could potentially be Naota Nandaba as he's seen to have thin eyebrows and a potentially large forehead, he also dresses in colors similar to Naota from the original FLCL.
