Ladybird Girl is a song by Japanese rock group The Pillows. It is featured in the first episode of FLCL: Shoegaze titled "Full Barricade", when Harumi Araishu caught Masaki Aofuji stealing chemicals from the chemistry lab at school in order to blow up Tsuganei Tower. She suggest that they go on a "date" to the local hardware store, where she shoplifts several items in order to complete the bomb, before showing them continuing their journey up the tower.
The song is also featured in the official Adult Swim trailer for Shoegaze.
The track was originally released on the band's 2008 album, Pied Piper and the 2009 compilation album, Rock Stock & Too Smoking the Pillows.
