Funny Bunny is a song by Japanese rock group The Pillows. It is featured in the final episode of FLCL titled "FLCLimax", when Mamimi Samejima begins to look for Takkun in the rain before adopting a new pet while Commander Amarao warns Naota Nandaba about Haruko Haruhara using him.
It is also featured in Season 4, FLCL: Grunge in the final episode, "Orinoko (episode)", when Orinoko receives a whetstone from Haruko and helps her father craft a katana for Shonari.
Originally released on the band's 1999 album, Happy Bivouac, it is included in the second FLCL OST album, FLCL No.2 King of Pirates, as well as the third OST, FLCL No.3.
The track was later re-recorded for the 2009 album, Rock stock & too smoking the pillows titled "Funny Bunny (Rock Stock Version)", featuring a less prominent drum intro, a child's voice saying "I love you, funny bunny!" before the rest of the band joins in and distorted rhythm guitars instead of acoustic.
While it has not been officially confirmed yet, the version used in Grunge appears to be another re-recorded version specifically for the show, as it omits the child's line in the intro and also features additional guitar fills.
