Animage (アニメージュ, Animēju) is a monthly Japanese anime and entertainment magazine published by Tokuma Shoten since July 1978. It is notable for being one of the first magazines dedicated to animation and comics with the general public in mind as an audience rather than professionals. In 2007, the magazine began syndication online.
It regards to FLCL, it serves as a secondary source of documentation on the development and marketing of the series beginning in the January 2000 issue and would continue to receive updates in each following issue depending on what episode was in development at the time including promotional art, character references, and interviews.
